#2022-249381/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 09-18-2022 at 0312 hours, officer was driving to the SW Precinct in the 5400 block of Delridge WY SW when a vehicle emerged from a driveway at a high rate of speed and struck the officer’s patrol car. That vehicle sustained heavy damage but fled the scene. The vehicle was located unoccupied a short distance away. The officer was not injured. The patrol car was disabled. Witnesses observed two occupants flee from the vehicle, which was reported stolen.
#2022-249521/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0824 hours, officers responded to a vehicle in the road with the driver unconscious. Seattle Fire arrived and observed a handgun next to the sole occupant. Seattle Fire backed off and waited for SPD. Officers detained the subject and had him evaluated by SFD. The subject was found to be a convicted felon and the firearm was found to be stolen out of Tacoma. The subject was booked into KCJ.
#2022-250014/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1944 hours, officers responded to report of shots near 14 Av S/S Cloverdale St. Following interviews of several witnesses, officers located evidence of a shooting on the east side of the alley between S Cloverdale St and S Donovan St and more evidence of a shooting at the west end of the alley. Witnesses described 2 vehicles departing the area immediately following the shots. During the officers’ evidence search they located 1 vehicle with sustained damage, no other victims were located. The incident was screened with GVRU. Patrol processed the scene.
