#2022-258306/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 09-27-2022 at 0023 hours, multiple callers reported hearing shots and vehicles fleeing near Renton Ave S and S Ryan St. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting in the street. No victims, property damage, or suspects were located. The evidence was photographed and collected.

#2022-258318/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0045 hours, officers were dispatched to a robbery call off Beacon Ave S. According to the call, the victim was robbed at gun point and the suspects fled in a vehicle. Officers arrived, contacted the victim, and located the suspect vehicle. The vehicle pulled over prior to officers conducting a stop and the suspects were detained without incident. The officer with the victim established probable cause to arrest the suspects. The suspects were arrested and booked without incident.

#2022-258325/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0104 hours, a man pulled up in front of a motel off Aurora, screamed that he wanted to die, and fired three rounds out of his car before driving away. Officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting. No victims were located. No property damage was located. The evidence was recovered and patrol handled the call.

#2022-258592/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 1053 hours, officers responded to a report of a female sleeping in a vehicle. The officers recognized the described vehicle from a holding auto theft call in the area. Officers contacted and arrested the suspect. The suspect sustained superficial abrasions to her legs during a controlled takedown on gravel. Type II Use of Force investigation conducted.

#2022-259065/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1815 hours, officers responded to a report of a possible excited delirium on N 127th St. The witness reported the subject was breaking things, grunting, sweating, and slamming his head against the ground. Seattle Fire staged while officers responded to the incident. Arriving officers were able to safely detain the subject without incident while SFD Medics responded. The subject was ultimately treated by SFD medics on scene and transported by them to HMC.

#2022-259069/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1820 hours on Linden Av N., a concealed weapon permit holder was picking up his handgun when he accidentally discharged it and killed his own dog. The male cooperated with officers and provided a statement. He was I and R’d from the scene. The dead dog was taken to Animal Shelter. His gun was submitted into evidence.

#2022-257177/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2034 hours, a suspect and victim live in an encampment in separate tents next to each other. The suspect burned the victim’s tent and property after a verbal argument. The suspect was arrested for Arson. SPD’s ABS responded and interviewed the suspect. ABS will conduct the follow-up.

#2022-259237/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2155 hours, a suspect entered the victim business in the 4700 block 42 AVE SW brandishing a table knife. Suspect attempted to steal food items without paying before being confronted by loss prevention. Loss prevention was able to disarm the suspect and retrieve items after a scuffle. Officers arrested the suspect without incident. Warrant for assault 4 verified. Suspect booked into KCJ.

#2022-259264/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2223 hours, officers on a suspicious vehicle call developed reasonable suspicion to detain the driver. The suspect fled on foot and after a short foot pursuit was taken into custody. The suspect complained of injury and sustained minor abrasions. A Type II Use of Force investigation is ongoing.

#2022-259268/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2230 hours, officers responded to a subject who was spit on and had a bottle thrown at him for no other apparent reason than his race. This was based on racial slurs used by the suspect and a history of racially motivated harassment by the suspect towards the victim. The suspect was arrested and booked into KCJ.

#2022-259295/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2316 hours, officers responded to 4700 SW Othello ST to a report of shots. Witness reported that a dark grey sedan was travelling SB on Lincoln Park WY when an occupant fired three rounds in the air out the open sunroof. Officers located evidence of a shooting but no other witnesses were located. Scene processed by patrol.
