On 10-03-2022 at 0006 hours, officers were dispatched to reports of a male apparently under the influence running in the street, pulling vehicle door handles, and banging on windows. Initial reports indicated the subject was not wearing a shirt but had pants on. During their area check for the subject, officers were flagged down by a security guard who pointed the subject out to them. By this time, the subject was naked, and was banging on business windows while making extremely loud noises. The subject then began running from officers, but stopped after a short distance, where he laid on the ground and began slurping water from a shallow puddle. Officers were able to restrain him without force. While awaiting the arrival of Seattle Fire personnel, who were staged nearby, officers wrapped the nude subject in a mega-mover. SFD medics confirmed the subject was experiencing excited delirium, administered ketamine, and transported him to HMC for evaluation.
