#2022-288527/North Precinct/Third Watch:
On 10-27-2022 at 0250 hours, SPD was called to assist with traffic control for a fully engulfed house with flames possibly spreading to a neighboring residence. Seattle Fire extinguished the fire and Fire Marshal (FM) responded. FM believed the fire to be suspicious, however, due to the residual heat and smoke in the structure, a definitive cause and origin could not immediately be determined. Once the structure cools off, additional investigative efforts will be taken. Screened with SPD’s ABS.
#2022-289055/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1422 hours, officers responded to a shots fired call. The victim reported that they were near Diagonal Av Park and noticed a suspect sitting in a metal fishing boat on the Duwamish Waterway. The victim observed the suspect stand up from the boat and point a firearm that appeared to be a black rifle towards the victim. The suspect fired one round towards the victim, then left the area heading southbound on Duwamish Waterway. Officers checked the area but could not locate the suspect or crime scene. No other victims or witnesses called 911 to report the incident.
