#2022-289610/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-28-2022 at 0404 hours, a male victim stated that he was at the Shell Station located at the 4500 block of Fauntleroy Way SW. The victim stated that three teenage males jumped him and took his backpack. The victim stated he chased the suspects but felt pain in his chest. The victim stopped and medics responded to check him.
#2022-290260/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1730 hours, a victim called 911 reporting he was shot. Victim said he was confronted in his apartment by a suspect with whom he argued briefly. Suspect shot victim in the leg then fled the apartment. Officers administered life-saving aid to the victim. Suspect not located. Lt monitored the incident. Media and Homicide notified. Victim was transported to HMC and is expected to survive.
#2022-290373/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1939 hours, loss prevention at the Safeway located in the 2600 block of California AVE SW confronted a male they observed stealing various items. Employees confronted this suspect who brandished a folded knife. Employees took the basket with items from the suspect who fled the store on foot. A short while later the suspect returned to the store with the knife now unfolded and swiped it at the victim 5 or 6 times. The suspect left the store and got into a waiting white Nissan sedan and left the area. Several recent incidents/descriptions match this M.O. in the vicinity.
#2022-290541/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2303 hours, officers were traveling east on Pike St. near 3rd Ave when they observed a female in the road, blocking traffic. As officers slowed down to contact the female, she spit into the open driver’s window, striking the officer in the face. The female ran from officers and was arrested after a brief foot pursuit. Suspect was charged with Assault 3 and booked into KCJ. Lt was advised.
