#2022-309659/West Precinct/First Watch:

On 11-18-2022 at 0755 hours, officers responded to a trespass call at a business. Upon arrival officers were directed to a female who was screaming and refusing to leave. The female had previously been trespassed from the business. Officers arrested the female and placed her in the backseat of the patrol car. Female escalated her behavior and spit on the uniform of the officer. Female booked into KCJ. Lt. notified.

#2022-310101/Wes Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1930 hours, officers responded to an apartment building reference a behavioral crisis incident involving a known crisis subject. Upon contact with the involved subject inside apartment, emergent criteria was established. While waiting for AMR to arrive, the subject began rolling around in a white powdery substance that went airborne, and officers moved in and detained the subject in handcuffs. The subject was brought downstairs to the front lobby to await AMR’s arrival and several officers began feeling a tingling/burning/scratchy sensation in their throats. One officer also felt lightheaded and dizzy. The subject claimed it was “Lavender Soap Powder” and stated “that was for you guys.” Seattle Fire was called to the scene to evaluate the exposed officers, who were moved outside into open air. The subject was transported to HMC reference the emergent detention via AMR. SFD arrived with a hazmat team, who evaluated the exposed officers and rendered aid. All exposed officers self-recovered and did not need to be transported to the hospital for further medical care. SFD hazmat cleared the apartment and tested the white powdery substance and it returned negative for any known drug, explosive, or biological agent. Officer injury packets were completed and a WACIC hazard was completed for the subject and the apartment.
