#2022-312578/North Precinct/First Watch:

On 11-21-2022 at 1015 hours, a PEO witnessed a subject in crisis wielding a hatchet and threatening people in the 6500 Block of 15 AV NE. Upon arrival, patrol units located the subject who was still holding the hatchet and took him into custody. A victim stated while he was stuck in traffic, the subject approached his vehicle and threatened him while holding the hatchet causing him to fear for his life. Subject booked into KCJ.

#2022-312858/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1700 hours, officers were assisting with the involuntary commitment of an individual when they kicked two of the responding officers, biting one – breaking the skin. Officers arrested the suspect, who was subsequently booked into King County Jail for two counts of Investigation of Assault. The officer who was bitten was screened at the scene by Seattle Fire, who recommended that he be transported to HMC for further examination. Chain of command was notified, and the call was screened with Homicide.

#2022-313125/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2049 hours, officers responded to the 3800 block of 35 AVE SW to a report of an auto theft. The vehicle had been parked on 35 AVE SW and is equipped with lights, siren, and a police radio. The victim/complainant works for a government entity. The vehicle has a lockbox in the trunk area containing a M4 rifle, Taser, portable radio, and body armor. Area check was negative, no tracking on the car.

#2022-313156/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2125 hours, officers responded to a report of an interrupted burglary where the suspect had fired a shot at the victim. The caller reported that he had heard the burglary occurring at his neighbor’s house. The caller armed himself with an axe and confronted the suspect who was in the process of piling stolen items on the back deck. When confronted, the suspect fled on foot with the caller following. The suspect turned as he was running and fired 1 round at the victim who discontinued his chase and returned home for police response. Evidence of a shooting was located and submitted. Containment was established and K9 responded to conduct a track. This track was concluded with no suspect located. Homicide notified. Patrol officers processed the scene.
