#2022-311507/East Precinct/Third Watch:

On 11-20-2022 at 0038 hours, a male victim with a gunshot wound (GSW) to his chest arrived with his friends to Swedish First Hill ER. The victim was in critical condition. The friends of the victim were with him during the shooting. They stated they were shot at while in their vehicle in the South Precinct. However, they offered conflicting accounts of where the shooting occurred. Upon checking the vehicle, the evidence indicated the shooting occurred inside the vehicle. Further investigation revealed several of the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of two stolen firearms and were playing with them prior to the shooting. The victim who was seated in the front passenger seat passed a loaded firearm to the rear passenger who then shot the victim through the seat. The victim was then driven to ER. Afterwards, the driver drove to Volunteer Park where he sloughed the two firearms in the bushes. The firearms were subsequently recovered by officers and the vehicle was impounded. The shooter was arrested for Assault 1 and possession of a stolen firearm. The driver was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm. At the time of this report, the victim was in the ICU. Homicide screened the call.

#2022-311574/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0249 hours, several callers reported numerous gunshots in the 1100 Block of E Union St. Officers responded and did not locate any victims, however they located evidence of a shooting, damaged vehicles, and damage to nearby businesses. Witnesses in the area stated that there was a large disturbance between two groups prior to and during the shots being fired. Multiple suspect information was provided along with multiple vehicle descriptions.

#2022-311588/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 0318 hours, three masked suspects approached a victim residence and tore down an exterior security camera. The suspects later returned and forced entry into the residence, pistol whipping the lone occupant, and stole the victim’s phone and wallet. Patrol processed the scene, and the robbery unit was notified.

#2022-311612/East Precinct/First Watch:

At 0402 hours, the clerk of a business near 15 Av./E. Denny St. called 911 and reported the following. MALE OUTSIDE WITH A GUN, CALLER NOT ANSWERING QUESTIONS, JUST SAYING PLEASE COME, SAYS HE SHOT AT RP (reporting party). Patrol responded, set up containment, formed contact teams to clear the business and locate the store employee who may have been injured as he could not be reached by phone. Last known info was suspect presented a handgun and fired at the victim and victim’s status was unknown. Contact team made entry, cleared building, and located the store employee locked in the restroom uninjured. NO SHOTS WERE FIRED. Suspect was gone when officers arrived and was not located. Referred to robbery unit.

#2022-312254/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2319 hours, officers responded to the 4800 block of Fauntleroy WY SW to multiple reports of 6-9 shots fired. Officers located evidence of a shooting in the alley. One witness described a late model F150 being pursued by a late model silver BMW sedan. No victims were identified. GVRU was consulted. The scene was processed by patrol.

#2022-312273/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2357 hours, officers responded to the 2000 BLK of Rainier AV S in response to a report of smoke emitting from an abandoned commercial building. Upon arrival, officers determined there was a fire in the building. Multiple Seattle Fire units responded to contain the incident. SPD personnel assisted with scene security and traffic control while SFD personnel spent several hours rendering the scene safe. At the time of this writing, a determination of causation is still under investigation.
