Seattle police are investigating after a man reportedly groped several women jogging at locations around the East Precinct.
Police first received a report on April 6th from a woman, who said she’d been running in the 900 block of 17th Avenue when a man approached her, grabbed her, and then fled in a white Lexus SUV.
Police later received two other similar accounts from women, first on November 7th, from a woman jogging in the 300 block of Lake Washington Boulevard, and another on December 17th from a woman jogging at Lakeside Avenue South and Lake Washington Boulevard. The three reported incidents took place between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The women all described the suspect as an Asian male, in his twenties to forties, driving a white Lexus. Detectives are following leads in the case and are seeking additional information about any similar unreported incidents.
