#2023-000029/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0017 hours, the two victims were driving north bound on 12th and performed a U-turn in the intersection of 12th/Denny. Once turned around one of the victims saw a friend of a friend and they pulled over to talk. The conversation escalated and the suspect female returned to her car and grabbed a pistol. The victim driver saw this and began to drive away. The suspect female then began to discharge her firearm at the victims, striking the passenger window and side several times. No spent shell casings were located. Area checks were performed to locate the suspects with negative results.
#2023-000052/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0035 hours, officers responded to the 100 block of 6 AV N for a shots fired call. They spoke to a victim who had two bullets come through the wall of his apartment, but no one was injured. Officers found shell casings in a parking lot next to the apartment building and a witness who stated that the shots were fired into the air and came from a group of 4 males who ran from the scene. No suspects were located.
#2023-000222/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0522 hours, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred at about 0200 in the vicinity of the 4200 block of University Way NE. The victim reported that he was drinking at a bar when he met the suspect who tried to sell him cocaine. When he followed the suspect into an alley the suspect pointed a handgun at him and demanded his phone, cash, and WA ID.
#2023-000594/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1421 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of shots on a King County Metro bus at 4 Av S/S Jackson St. Officers arrived to the scene, interviewed witnesses, and canvased the scene for shell casings. King County Metro was able to show officers footage from cameras on the bus. The footage shows one vehicle shoot at the occupants of another vehicle traveling eastbound on S Jackson St. The bullets went through the windows of the bus. Officers recovered one bullet from inside the bus. Officers did not locate anyone who had been shot. KCSO deputies assisted with the scene.
