Shortly after 5:30p.m., police responded to the 4200 block of South Chicago Street for a report of a stabbing.
Arriving officers found a male in his twenties with a stab wound to his forearm. The 36-year-old suspect ran from the scene, but police were able to locate him and take him into custody. Officers located a weapon which appeared to be a rusty screwdriver and placed it into evidence.
Police and Seattle Fire provided first aid to the victim’s non-life-threatening injury.
The suspect will be booked into King County Jail for assault.
