Police arrested a burglar late Wednesday after he slithered through a window at a Rainier Beach apartment.
Around 11:30 p.m., a woman called 911 and said she could hear someone rifling through items in another room in her apartment in the 9000 block of Seward Park Avenue South.
When officers arrived, formed a contact team, and entered the unit, the suspect slipped back out the window, only to be met by another group of officers who had set up containment around the building.
Police booked the 31-year-old man into the King County Jail for burglary.
