Seattle Police partnered with the Department of Corrections and the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Task Force (ATF) in finding a suspect involved in an assault incident this past November in the Chinatown International District.
The 38-year-old male suspect had assaulted a woman and shot another man during a physical altercation that occurred in the 200 block of South King Street.
On Monday, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Seattle Police detectives and ATF arrested the suspect in the 3300 block of 1st Avenue South in Sodo. During the arrest investigation, police recovered two handguns, approximately two pounds of marijuana, and approximately half a pound of shrooms from the suspect’s vehicles.
The male suspect was arrested for his outstanding assault warrant and charges were requested for the unlawful possession of a firearm. He was later booked into King County Jail.
