#2023-037821/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 02-09-2023 at 0336 hours, officers responded to multiple calls of shots near 700 block of 26 AV S. Officers located an unoccupied residence and a vehicle with several bullet holes. Evidence of a shooting was recovered. Area check for suspect vehicle was negative. Screened with Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
#2023-037854/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0424 hours, a female casino employee drove home from work and parked in the 6400 block of 29 Ave SW. The victim exited her vehicle and walked toward her home when a suspect approached the victim and poked her with a black pistol. The suspect demanded jewelry, and stole the victim’s purse which contained cash, a cell phone, and other items. The suspect left on foot and possibly entered a vehicle. The victim wasn’t able to track her phone. K9 and Guardian 1 were requested, but not available. Officers checked the area for suspect/suspects and for evidence. The SPD Robbery Unit was notified about the incident.
