#2023-066892/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 03-11-2023 at 0016 hours, officers were dispatched to the report of a shooting in S3. The victim was a tow truck driver for a repo company. The victim reported that he was in the area for a repo but not where he was assaulted. The victim was stopped by a black SUV and then assaulted by the suspect who punched him in the face while he sat in his tow truck. The victim was able to drive around the black SUV. The suspect then fired rounds at the tow truck as it drove away. Victim was not struck.
#2023-066968/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0240 hours, a 911 Alarm call came in via dispatch. When officers arrived, they observed that burglars had damaged the exterior walls of a local bank, chained up the night deposit safe, and pulled it from the building with a motor vehicle. The safe proved too heavy for the vehicle to drag or the suspects to lift and was left on the sidewalk. The building sustained significant damage. Video footage was not available at the time of response.
#2023-066986/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0307 hours, two callers reported hearing shots in the area of 32 Ave S/S Washington St. One of the callers looked out her window and observed a white sedan driving away NB on 32 Ave S. Officers arrived and located a casing at 32 Ave S/S Washington and another in the 3200 block of S Frink Pl. No one was hit and no property damage was located. Scene was processed by patrol.
#2023-067357/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1314 hours, officers were dispatched to an assault call at Pike Place Market. Upon arrival officers were informed that the suspect followed a family around the market and began to touch the man, woman, and their children. While being taken into custody the suspect assaulted Pike Place security guards. The suspect also attempted to kick an officer while on scene. The suspect then made threats to kill the officer. While being evaluated by the Fire Department, the suspect spat on SFD personnel. The suspect was transported to Harborview. Upon release he will be booked into King County Jail. Assault on officer and SFD Personnel screened with 212.
#2023-067681/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2023 hours, officers responded to the 1600 block of S King St for a report of a DV disturbance where the caller’s intoxicated brother was throwing items and punching walls. Upon arrival, officers heard screaming from the involved apartment unit. Officers entered the unit and contacted the suspect who told officers to handcuff him. The suspect was handcuffed and he warned the officers he would spit on them. The suspect delivered on his threat and spat in the face of one of the officers. Officers placed a spit sock on the suspect to prevent further assault. Officers learned the suspect had also assaulted a family member prior to their arrival. Suspect was booked into KCJ for Assault.
#2023-067251/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2100 hours, CRG Officers in coordination with MCTF conducted an arrest operation for a suspect wanted for the theft of identities to fraudulently purchase motor vehicles. The suspect was located as a passenger in one of the stolen vehicles and officers moved in to effect an arrest. The suspect fled on foot but was quickly apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. During the pursuit the male sluffed a loaded firearm which was recovered. The female companion was also apprehended who was in control of the stolen vehicle. The male was booked for investigation of identity theft and unlawful possession of a firearm while the female was booked for investigation of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
