The King County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled this death a homicide. The victim is 66 years old. The Homicide Unit will be leading the investigation. If anyone has information, please call the SPD Violent Crime Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
Seattle police officers responded to a report of a body found at an encampment in South Lake Union Tuesday night.
Officers arrived shortly after 8:00 p.m. in the 1100 block of Mercer Street and located a deceased woman. The woman is presumed to be in her 50’s to 60’s. Officers secured the scene and notified the Homicide Unit.
