Seattle Police Detectives continue to look for the vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run collision that occurred at 4th Ave S and S. Lander St on March 16th, 2023, at 10:42 PM. The vehicle will have front passenger side damage. Anyone with possible information should call the Traffic Collision Investigation Office at 206-684-8923.
Below is an example of the vehicle detectives believe struck the pedestrian. The vehicle is a White 2015-2023 Dodge Charger with black racing stripes running down the middle of the vehicle.

Detectives have obtained surveillance images of the vehicle in this incident and are seeking the public’s help locating the vehicle.
Surveillance video showed the vehicle that struck the pedestrian is a white 2018-2023 Dodge Charger. The vehicle has a black racing stripe. The driver continued northbound on 4th Avenue South and possibly eastbound on South Holgate Street. The vehicle has extensive damage to the hood, grille, and front bumper near the passenger-side headlight.

Woman Found Deceased After Hit and Run Collision in SODO
Seattle Police officers responded to a fatal hit and run collision in SODO after a motorist struck and killed a pedestrian Thursday night.
At approximately 10:40 p.m. Seattle Police officers assigned to the south precinct were on routine patrol when they heard a collision. Officers arrived at the intersection of 4th Avenue South and South Lander Street and found a woman in the roadway unresponsive.
Officers attempted lifesaving measures until Seattle Fire Department personnel arrived and declared the 40-year-old victim deceased.
Officers secured the scene and conducted an area check for the involved vehicle. The suspect and the vehicle were not located.
Police are looking for a white 2015-2023 Dodge Charger with significant front-end damage last seen traveling at a high rate of speed away from the scene.
Traffic Collision detectives arrived on scene and will be leading the investigation.
