#2023-075661/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 03-20-2023 at 0200 hours, officers responded to a report of shots fired at 33 Av S/S Lander St. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting in the street on the NW corner of the intersection. Officers spoke with 2 witnesses who heard someone yell “get the f___ out of here” and then 3 shots were heard along with a vehicle leaving at a high rate of speed. Officers located evidence that indicated a white sedan left the scene seconds after the shots were heard. Officers processed the scene. No GVRU units were working. No victims or property damage located.

#2023-075951/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1050 hours, officers responded to a robbery call in the area of 36 Av SW and SW Charlestown St. The suspect was attempting to steal the victim’s vehicle. The victim approached the suspect, and the suspect pepper sprayed the victim’s eyes. The suspect fled the scene on foot. Due to no K9 officers available, officers did a thorough search for the suspect, but was unsuccessful.

#2023-075683/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0300 hours, an officer was responding to a call for service and was stopped for the traffic light at MLK Jr Way S/Rainier Av S. Officer noticed a male walking behind his patrol vehicle but when the subject didn’t appear in the side mirror, he observed the subject standing at the back of the patrol vehicle looking in the back window. The officer got out of the vehicle to confront the subject, who immediately moved away from the patrol vehicle and continued walking. Later after the call for service it was noticed the patrol vehicle was tagged with spray paint. The damage was photographed and documented in the report.

#2023-075716/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0500 hours, officers responded to Queen Anne to a report of an occupied residential burglary. The homeowners were alerted by their dogs to an intruder in their basement. When confronted, the suspect pointed a firearm at the victim. The suspect fled and entered a nearby waiting getaway vehicle. An area check was negative for the suspects. Evidence specialists responded to the scene for processing.

#2023-076403/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1845 hours, a male was involved in an altercation with a suspect which resulted in the suspect stabbing the victim in the back of the leg. The wound appeared minor and non-life-threatening. Although the victim didn’t know the suspect, he recognized him from contacts in the past. The victim was given aid at scene and later transported to the hospital via AMR. A possible suspect was contacted, identified, and released.
