#2023-83898/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
On 03-28-2023 at 1100 hours, a threat was made via 911 to a school which prompted the evacuation of the building. It was later discovered the call was made by a child who got possession of his parents’ phone. Patrol and SPD’s ABS were on scene to assist.
#2023-084389/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1910 hours, an off-duty, uniformed police officer was working as security at a store on Aurora Avenue N. The officer, from an outside jurisdiction, identified a shoplifter and prevented her from leaving with store merchandise. After recovering the merchandise, the female suspect spit directly in the officer’s face. The officer detained the female suspect on the ground. A second suspect, a male, shoved the officer off the female. After a brief scuffle, the female suspect shouted that she had a gun. The officer then returned to the store and the two suspects fled the area on foot. SPD arrived and checked the area but did not locate any suspects.
#2023-084524/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2231 hours, officers were dispatched to a DV related stabbing call near 37th Ave S and S Hudson St. Officers located the victim and rendered aid until Seattle Fire arrived. The victim was transported to HMC in stable condition. Officers did not locate the suspect during an area check.
