On 4-2-2023 at 1714 hours, officers contacted an assault victim who was standing on the sidewalk when the suspect walked past him. This suspect was known to the victim as they have had verbal altercations in the past. As the suspect passed the victim, he threw a bottle and made a derogatory statement with bias towards the victim. The suspect then left the area. The victim felt targeted based on the content of the suspect’s statements. Officers responded and searched the area for the suspect. The suspect was not located.

At 2330 hours, officers responded to a burglary in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue S and contacted the suspect. The suspect resisted and assaulted an officer. The officer sustained no serious injuries.
