(Update)One Male Wounded During Armed Robbery in Mount Baker

UPDATE: 04/19/2023 at 7:00 p.m.

Robbery Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect of a robbery turned shooting in the Mount Baker neighborhood on April 7th, 2023.

The female suspect is described as White or Hispanic, in her 20s to 30s with black hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and white shoes.

Seattle Police received a 911 call reporting a man shot at a Mount Baker business late Friday night. 

Police arrived at about 11:20 p.m. in the 2800 block of Rainer Avenue South and contacted a clerk who reported a woman pulled a gun on him after he tried to retrieve stolen merchandise. As the suspect began to flee the scene, a customer confronted the suspect and was shot.

The victim was not on scene when police arrived. Officers later learned a family member transported the victim to a downtown hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers attempted to locate the suspect but were unsuccessful.

The female suspect is described as White or Hispanic, in her late 20s to early 30s with black hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and white shoes.

Robbery detectives responded to the scene and will be investigating the case.
