#2023-122538/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 5-5-2023 at 1846 hours, officers responded to a business after the suspect made threats to kill the victims using hate crime language and followed them around the store. Police obtained video surveillance footage of the suspect and collected evidence from the scene. The suspect was not located.
#2023-122740/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2248 hours, a Subaru Legacy driven by a 34-year-old male crossed the centerline and struck a Toyota Rav4 on N 85th approaching Fremont Av N. The driver of the Subaru was transported to HMC and evaluated by a DRE for impairment. The 34-year-old driver of the Toyota sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to HMC with his two passengers.
#2023-122729/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2255 hours, officers responded to a disturbance between patrons outside a local tavern. A friend of the subject who was assaulted became angry with officers and spit on one of the responding units. She was arrested and booked into KCJ for assault. The officer was not injured.
#2023-122748/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2257 hours, patrol responded to reports of a suspected Molotov cocktail thrown at a private residence. Seattle Fire Department had also responded and put the flames out. SPD ABS detectives responded, collected evidence, and will handle the follow up investigation.
