#2023-125750/East Precinct/Third Watch:
On 5-9-2023 at 0223 hours, officers were dispatched to a shots call near the 1200 block of Barclay Ct. Officers located evidence of a shooting. No victims or property damage were found.
#2023-125892/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0745 hours, an emphasis unit saw a woman breaking car windows with a metal pole. As he went to contact her, she ran onto I-5 and damaged a vehicle and assaulted a driver. Officers eventually detained her and had her checked by Seattle Fire; she was later taken to Swedish-Cherry Hill for a mental health evaluation.
#2023-125970/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0840 hours, a suspect in mental health crisis intentionally began a fire in his apartment unit resulting in a large Seattle Fire response. Officers arrived and took the suspect into custody. The suspect was taken to HMC and will be booked into KCJ for investigation of arson.
#2023-126045/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0958 hours, officers responded to the 2600 block of California Ave SW where a male subject with a crossbow entered the store and stole merchandise. Staff told police the subject had an unloaded mini crossbow in his hands as he was filling his backpack. The suspect left in an unknown direction on foot prior to police arrival.
#2023-126297/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1430 hours, officers contacted the owner of a restaurant who received email with biased and threatening language directed at them and their company. No suspect information available at this time.
#2022-235118/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1553 hours, police responded to a residence after receiving a report that a suspect wanted for robbery and assault was at the location. Additional units and resources assisted but the suspect was not at the house. Officers located the suspect later in the University District and booked him into KCJ for felony charges.
