#2023-129183/West Precinct/Third Watch:

On 5-12-2023 at 0435 hours, officers were dispatched to the Queen Anne area regarding a shot heard. Officers found an unoccupied vehicle with bullet damage and the area near the catalytic converter had been partially cut out. Police also found cutting tools on the ground next to the vehicle.

#2023-129430/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 1010 hours, officers responded to the 500 block of Rainier Ave S regarding a burglary. The suspect barricaded himself in his unit and refused to communicate with SPD. With the assistance of SWAT and HNT, the suspect was taken into custody and booked into KCJ for investigation of burglary.

#2023-129808/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1706 hours during an operation Downtown, officers observed a subject armed and dealing narcotics. He was taken into custody without incident and officers recovered a gun and narcotics.

#2023-129771/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1714 hours, officers placed a female suspect under arrest for assault. While being searched, the suspect assaulted an officer. The suspect was transported to KCJ and booked for assault in the 3rd degree. The officer sustained minor injuries.

#2023-129839/Southwest Precinct/1740 hours:

At 1740 hours, several callers reported shots fired in the 5000 block of Delridge Way SW. Officers located a residence that had been struck by gunfire. No one was injured.

#2023-129842/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1741 hours, officers responded to a reported stabbing in the area of 4th Ave S and S Jackson St. Officers contacted and detained the suspect without incident. The victim was transported to HMC with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was booked into KCJ.

#2023-130016/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2051 hours, patrol responded to a report of shots fired and a collision in the 9000 block of 17 Ave SW. The victims told officers multiple suspects approached their car and started shooting. The victims tried to drive away and struck multiple parked vehicles before their vehicle was disabled. No one was injured and officers recovered evidence of a shooting from the scene.

#2023-130047/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2031 hours, police responded to a possible shooting near a sidewalk encampment. A victim showed up at Virginia Mason a short time later with injuries. Officers recovered evidence of a shooting at the scene.

#2023-130087/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2206 hours, police responded to the 2700 block of E Jefferson St for shots fired. Officers found evidence of a shooting and learned two victims were brought to Harborview Medical Center with gunshot wounds. One victim was in serious condition and was rushed into surgery; the other victim was in stable condition.

#2023-130173/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2343 hours, officers responded to the 900 block of E Union St for shots fired during an altercation in the street. Officers did not locate any victims but did find evidence of a shooting and several parked vehicles struck by gunfire.
