#2023-131394/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 5-14-2023 at 0227 hours, police responded to a shot fired following a disturbance. The victim said he got into a verbal altercation with the suspect who later followed him and fired a single shot in the air from a vehicle. Officers recovered evidence of a shooting and were not able to locate the suspect.
#2023-131661/South Precinct/First Watch:
At 1055 hours, officers were dispatched to a stabbing in the 9800 block of Rainier Ave S. Officers provided aid to the victim until SFD arrived. Police located the suspect nearby and booked him into KCJ for assault. The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
#2023-131736/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1222 hours, a citizen reported possible human remains in Discovery Park. Officers arrived and collected potential evidence.
#2023-132094/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1638 hours, officers were dispatched to the report of a stabbing but did not locate a victim, suspect, or the scene. Three hours later, the victim called back and was contacted by officers. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
#2023-132286/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2337 hours, officers were dispatched to the report of a strong-arm robbery. The victim was assaulted by the suspect who stole her backpack and had bruising and swelling to her face. The suspect was not found.
