#2023-134602/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 5-17-2023 at 0024 hours, officers responded to the 1700 block of 13th Avenue S for an attempted robbery after three suspects attempted to take money from the victim. One suspect pulled out a knife and cut the victim’s hand. The victim was transported to the hospital and officers were not able to find the suspects.
#2023-134638/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0123 hours, officers assisted Seattle Fire SFD after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a home near 46th Ave S and S Othello St. The home had minor fire and smoke damage to the exterior. Police collected evidence left at the scene and notified the SPD Arson Bomb Squad.
#2023-134674/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0301 hours, an officer was flagged down about a large fire at the rear of a restaurant in the 6100 block of Roosevelt WY NE. The fire spread from the restaurant to a neighboring occupied residence causing damage. The fire was determined to be suspicious by the Seattle Fire Department.
#2023-135208/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1413 hours, officers responded to the 1500 block of E John St regarding an assault. Officers found the suspect nearby and took him into custody. An officer sustained a minor injury while arresting the suspect but declined medical aid.
#2023-135386/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1703 hours, police contacted the victim of a robbery near Denny Way and Fairview Ave. The suspect stabbed the victim with an unknown object, then stole their property and left on a bicycle. The victim was transported to HMC for treatment, and officers were not able to find the suspect.
#2023-135541/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 2007 hours, officers responded to a shots call in the area of Delridge Way SW and SW Juneau St. Police recovered evidence of a shooting and processed the scene. One vehicle was hit by gunfire and no injuries were reported.
#2023-135716/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2342 hours, officers responded to the 5600 block of 26th Ave SW for reports of shots fired. Multiple homes and vehicles were struck, but no injuries were reported. Officers located and collected evidence of a shooting.
