Police responded to a shooting early Tuesday morning near Olga Park in the Ravenna neighborhood.
Just after 2:00 a.m., officers arrived and found a man with a fatal gunshot wound near the intersection of 15th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Ravenna Boulevard.
Police provided aid to the victim until Seattle Fire arrived to take over medical care. Even after life-saving measures, the 46-year-old male victim died at the scene.
Homicide detectives will lead the ongoing investigation.
