An ongoing investigation regarding fentanyl dealing culminated in two arrests Wednesday by police.
The investigation, spearheaded by a Seattle Police Narcotics Unit detective and officer working collaboratively, targeted illicit fentanyl dealing by two suspects around the North Seattle area.
On Wednesday afternoon, SPD SWAT stopped the two men as they left the primary suspect’s residence in North Seattle in a vehicle belonging to the second suspect. At the time of the arrest, the primary suspect was armed with a handgun and narcotics were recovered on his person and from the vehicle.
Police served a search warrant of the primary suspect’s home and recovered two additional firearms, along with approximately 1,000 fentanyl pills and around $52,000 in U.S. currency.
Both suspects were transported and booked into the King County Jail for Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act with intent to deliver fentanyl.
