#2023-143319/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 5-25-2023 at 0125 hours, officers responded to a report of a male who had broken the front door to an apartment building and caused damage to the lobby. Police took the suspect into custody for felony property damage.
#2023-143220/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0126 hours, officers responded to an open 911 line with a possible domestic disturbance heard in the background. Arriving units got the victim out of the apartment and learned her adult son assaulted and threatened to kill her. The suspect was not found in the apartment but was located later by First Watch officers. He was booked into KCJ for felony harassment domestic violence.
#2023-143452/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0714 hours, officers were waiting for an ambulance to transport a subject. While waiting, the suspect turned toward the officer and scratched and dug their nails into his forearm, causing minor abrasions. The suspect was booked into KCJ for assault.
#2023-144355/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2246 hours, officers responded to the 9400 block of Rainier Avenue S after multiple 911 callers reported hearing gunfire and vehicles speeding away. Officers located evidence of a shooting and found an involved vehicle in the 5500 block of S Bangor Street.
