#2023-146956/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 5-28-2023 at 0029 hours, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 9000 block of Seward Park Avenue S. Witnesses told police they heard the shots and saw multiple cars leaving the scene. Officers located and recovered evidence of a shooting.
#2023-147079/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0444 hours, officers responded to a building fire in the 200 block of Yesler Way. The fire appears to have been intentionally set and caused significant damage to a room and flooded an entire floor. No injuries were reported and the suspect was gone by time officers arrived.
#2023-147161/South Precinct/First Watch:
At 0756 hours, patrol responded to a collision involving a moped and a vehicle. The moped rider sustained multiple serious injuries and was treated by SFD, then taken to HMC by medics. The vehicle driver was not impaired.
#2023-147429/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1408 hours, an officer observed a commotion in the area of 1st Avenue and Pike Street, then found a person unconscious on the sidewalk. Officers found the suspect and arrested him following a foot pursuit. The victim was taken to HMC for treatment and the suspect was booked for assault.
