#2023-148906/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 5-30-2023 at 0001 hours, officers were dispatched to the report of shots fired with property damage. Officers located evidence of a shooting in the street, and one vehicle and several apartments with bullet damage in their windows. No injuries were reported.
#2023-148975/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0233 hours, officers heard a large collision outside the precinct and saw a vehicle drive away after striking an unoccupied patrol car. Officers relocated the suspect in the 1100 block of E Pike St and arrested them for DUI and hit and run.
#2023-149248/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1024 hours, police contacted a victim of a drive-by shooting which occurred the night before in the area of Seward Park Av S/ S Holly St around 2300 hours. The victim was uninjured, but his vehicle received damage to the rear window. Officers located and recovered evidence from the scene.
#2023-149475/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1424 hours, a patrol car was intentionally rammed by a reckless driving suspect who refused to pull over and instead drove around the block and hit the officers’ car. One officer sustained a minor injury. Police did an extensive area check for the suspect but did not find the vehicle.
#2023-149620/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1718 hours, officers responded to an armed robbery of a marijuana dispensary in Ballard. Two suspects – one armed with a handgun – made off with marijuana and cash from the business. They were not located.
#2023-149708/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1845 hours, officers responded to numerous calls about gunfire. Police found multiple vehicles and homes struck and recovered evidence of shooting at the scene. An involved vehicle was found abandoned and officers impounded it for further processing. No injuries were reported.
