#2023-155504/North Precinct/First Watch:
On 6-5-2023 at 0834 hours, officers responded to a report of a carjacking. The victim met the suspects and offered to give them a ride, then noticed her property was missing and confronted them. One of the suspects claimed to have a gun and threatened to shoot the victim if she did not drive them around. The victim drove the suspects a short distance and was able to get out of the vehicle before the suspects left in it.
#2023-155591/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 1010 hours, officers responded to a theft in progress. Police located the suspect who assaulted an officer as they took him into custody. The officer suffered minor injuries.
#2023-156200/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2042 hours, officers responded to the 8300 block of Wabash Avenue S for a shooting. The victim was taken to HMC with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect is known to the victim and was gone when police arrived.
#2023-156261/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2152 hours, officers responded to a cannabis store robbery after two suspects entered the business and took money and products at gunpoint. Officers checked the area but did not locate the suspects.
