On 6-7-2023 at 1607 hours, officers were dispatched to the 8000 block of 20th Avenue SW regarding a shooting that occurred around 0242 in the morning. A community member advised officers he located evidence of a shooting on 20th Avenue SW and provided information on a vehicle seen leaving the area. Police collected the evidence from the community member.

At 2032 hours, officers responded to a call of multiple shots fired from within a homeless encampment near the 9200 block of 2nd Avenue SW. While on scene investigating, another shot was heard by officers who subsequently searched the area for victims but found no one.
