#2023-190725/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
On 7-7-2023, at 0520 hours, officers responded to robbery at a convenience store in the 3200 block of SW Avalon Way. Two suspects entered the store and implied they had a gun, then forced their way behind the counter and stole cash before leaving on foot. The suspects were not located.
#2023-190888/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0907 hours, officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 1000 block of 8th Avenue. The victim was located with a laceration to his forearm and told police he was slashed with a razor blade by a known acquaintance after a disagreement. The victim was transported to HMC with non-life-threatening injuries; the suspect was not located.
2023-191178/South Precinct/Second Watch:
On July 7, 2023, there was a vehicle stalled on the West Seattle Bridge. Officers arrived on scene and asked SRT to assist with traffic control. About 10 minutes later, a suspect vehicle struck the back end of the SRT vehicle with the SRT driver inside. Both drivers had minor injuries. The suspect driver was arrested for DUI.
#2023-191461/South Precinct/Second Watch:
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 57 Av S/Rainier Av S. Officers arrived on scene and located several shell casings and entered them into evidence. Officers observed property damage to multiple storefronts. Officers did not locate any victims.
#2023-191661/West Precinct/Third Watch:
Officers responded to shots fired in the Belltown Neighborhood. Witnesses stated that there was an argument between several women, shots were fired, and they fled in different directions, some in a vehicle. Officers located 3 shell casings but no victims.
#2023-191686/West Precinct/Third Watch
Officers responded to the 600 blk of 3 AV and located a victim bleeding from the head and chest. The victim appeared concussed, and evidence pointed to his being struck in the head with a bottle, which shattered, and then being stabbed in the sternum with the broken neck of the bottle. Injuries were not life threatening. No suspect information was available at the time.
