#2023-194923/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 7-11-2023, at 0217hrs, officers while on scene of a separate disturbance heard what sounded like two shots. A short time later a citizen called in reporting two shots. Officers drove through the area and located a citizen who reported his vehicle was shot. Officers located two bullet holes in the victim vehicle. It was unclear why the incident occurred. No other evidence was located.
#2023-195635/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1805hrs, after a verbal dispute between associates, one male shot another in the leg. Officers applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding prior to SFD arrival and medical transport to the hospital. Patrol processed the scene and will attempt to follow-up on the suspect’s identification.
#2023-195644/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1814hrs, officers responded to the 300 block of 9th Avenue for a report of a disturbance involving a female and male subject. Upon arrival, officers observed the female begin to exhibit increasingly escalated crisis behavior. Officers emergently detained the female for being a danger to herself.
#2023-195843/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2150hrs, officers responded to the 10300 block of 51st Avenue South for a report of shots fired. Officers located evidence of shooting and property damage to a vehicle parked on the street. It was reported to police there was a disturbance at a nearby business near the intersection of 51st Avenue South/South Creston Street between two groups of people. One group started walking back to a residence in the area as a vehicle pulled up and fired rounds towards the residence. No injuries reported at the time of the incident.
