On 7-13-2023, at 08:14hrs, SPD provided traffic control for graffiti removal on a city street.
#2023-197982/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 19:14hrs, officers were dispatched to a stabbing call in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. Officers arrived, located the victim, and the suspect. The suspect was detained without incident and officers provided medical aid to the victim until SFD arrived. The victim was transported to HMC in stable condition. The suspect was booked into KCJ.
#2023-197995/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 19:32hrs, police received multiple reports of shots fired around the 11000 blk of 8 AV NE. Officers located evidence of a shooting in a parking lot. No one reported being injured by gunfire. Multiple unoccupied vehicles were struck. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown.
#2023-198099/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 21:24hrs, an unknown suspect fired a single bullet through an apartment window. No one was injured. The bullet was recovered and submitted as evidence.
