#2023-210257/South Precinct/Third Watch:

On 7-25-2023, at 00:27hrs, officers were dispatched to the 9000 block of Seward Park Avenue South, for report of shots fired. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting. No damage or victims were located at this time.

#2023-210263/Southwest/Third Watch:

At 00:33hrs, Southwest patrol responded to a report of shots heard in the area of 6400 31st Avenue Southwest. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and observed multiple people running from the location. Patrol responded and located a scene in the alley in the 6400 block of 31st Avenue Southwest. No victims or property damage were located at this time. Evidence of a shooting was recovered.

#2023-210275/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 00:55hrs, officers were dispatched to a report of shots heard near the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Orchard Street. Officers arrived in the area and located evidence of a shooting. Shortly after arriving, dispatch received a call from a victim, who had left the area. Officers responded to his location in Tukwila and took photos of his damaged property. The victim claimed he was shot at while at a business near the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Orchard Street. The business had sustained damaged from the gunfire. No injuries reported at the time of the incident.

#2023-210280/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 01:00hrs, officers responded to a report of shots fired into a victim’s residence from a nearby property. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. A firearm and evidence of a shooting were recovered from the suspect’s home and victim’s residence.

#2023-209244/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 03:09hrs, police responded to a report of an assault in the 630 block of Northwest 85th Street. There was an argument between two subjects within a residence. The suspect left the area but then returned and assaulted the victim. The victim fled from the location and called police. Police secured the area. SWAT and HNT responded to the scene. A search warrant was obtained to enter the residence. The suspect was not located.

#2023-210308/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 04:55 hours, officers were dispatched to a downtown emergency shelter regarding a disturbance. Police learned the suspect had multiple outstanding warrants. Officers attempted to arrest the suspect, but he resisted arrest. During the arrest, multiple officers sustained minor injuries and one sustained a minor cut from a knife in the suspect’s possession. The suspect was transported to HMC for a pre-existing medical condition. Once medically cleared, he will be booked into King County Jail for his outstanding warrants.

#2023-210971/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 16:41hrs, 911 callers reported a robbery in progress in the 7300 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast. Officers arrived and observed a physical fight in-progress between loss-prevention and the described suspect. The suspect fled from arriving officers and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Minor injuries sustained by loss prevention and suspect during their physical altercation. Suspect received medical care by SFD and was later booked into King County Jail for robbery.

#2023-210908/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 22:30hrs, CVTF along with ATF, CRG, and SWAT located and arrested a known violent offender in the Tacoma area. The suspect was riding in a vehicle with two other individuals, one of which had a felony warrant for his arrest. Detectives observed a handgun in the vehicle and impounded it to later serve a search warrant to retrieve the firearm. One suspect was booked into King County Child and Family Justice Center on firearm related charges and the other was booked into Snohomish County Jail.
