At approximately 12:30p.m. on July 24th, police contacted a driver of a vehicle with a cancelled title in the 900 block of Northeast 73rd Street. When officers further investigated, the suspect driver had a suspended license and was found to be in violation of an ignition interlock device requirement. In addition, the driver had multiple outstanding warrants.
The 48-year-old male suspect was booked into Kent City Jail and later transferred to City of Issaquah for his outstanding warrants. SPD requested the following charges of driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock, and possession of narcotics with the intent to deliver.
The suspect vehicle was impounded due to the evidence of drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. Upon completing the search warrant, police recovered the following:
- 993 blue M30 pills (oxycodone/fentanyl)
- 2.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- 1.9 grams of suspected powdered cocaine
- 2.0 grams of suspected crack cocaine
