#2023-226048/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 8-8-2023, at 01:29hrs, a victim called in to 911 and stated she was just assaulted by another resident. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the victim. The victim provided officers with information about the assault. Officers attempted to contact the suspect but found out the suspect barricaded themselves in their apartment. HNT and SWAT was called to the scene and the suspect was eventually taken into custody.
#2023-226060/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 01:58hrs, a victim was returning home from visiting a casino. When she pulled into her driveway and exited her vehicle, a suspect vehicle stopped in the middle of the street on South Graham Street. Two suspects got out of the vehicle and a struggle ensued over the victim’s purse. After robbing the victim of her purse, the suspects drove off eastbound on South Graham Street. Victim sustained minor injuries from the altercation. Suspects were not located.
#2023-226111/South Precinct/First Watch:
At 05:01hrs, officers responded to the area of 4th Avenue South and South Holgate Street to reports of a male who had just been stabbed. Officers arrived and located the victim and rendered aid until relieved by SFD. Officers investigated and located the suspect nearby. Officers were able to contact and arrest the suspect and recover the involved weapons.
#2023-226637/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 14:59hrs, the suspect stealing merchandise assaulted the loss prevention officer when confronted, turning the theft into a robbery. Loss Prevention was able to provide a description and last known direction of travel. Police conducted an area check but did not locate the suspect.
#2023-226657/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 15:14hrs, officers responded to a disturbance. A record check for the male returned with an unverified warrant. The male attempted to flee and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Search incident arrest, the male was found in possession of a firearm. The male, a convicted felon, was booked into King County Jail for the weapons violation and verified felony warrant. The firearm was placed into evidence.
#2023-226881/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 18:30hrs, after a road rage incident at Airport Way South and South Lucile Street, the suspect followed the delivery truck and threatened to shoot the driver. The suspect followed the driver into a sorting facility. The suspect was confronted by employees and decided to leave. The exchange was recorded by 911. Possible suspect information was obtained. The suspect was not located.
#2023-227134/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 23:37hrs, officers on a North Precinct emphasis patrol heard screaming along Aurora Avenue North and observed a dog attacking a male. An officer intervened which allowed the victim to flee to safety. A catch pole was utilized and the dog was taken into custody before being booked into the Seattle Animal Shelter.
#2023-227147/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 23:59hrs, employees at a business in the 2600 block of California Avenue Southwest interrupted suspects who were trying to push a motorized handicap scooter down a upper level stairwell. There was a physical altercation involving multiple victims and suspects. One victim sustained significant non-life-threatening injuries. Suspects left in multiple vehicles and fled the scene. An area check was conducted but yielded negative results.
