Homicide Suspect Located and Arrested

Around 5:30 p.m. last Tuesday, officers of the Community Violence Task Force obtained information on the whereabouts of a Tukwila murder suspect. With assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), SPD’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit, and Narcotics detectives, CVTF responded to a residential location in the 4600 block of South 214th Place in the city of Kent.

SPD SWAT secured the residence as plans to implement the arrest of the murder suspect began. The 22-year-old suspect attempted to escape from the home on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Tukwila detectives completed a search warrant for the residence and SPD SWAT conducted the search of the location. A second 23-year-old male suspect was found and subsequently booked for his outstanding fugitive warrant out of Nevada.

The 22-year-old male suspect was booked into King County Jail for murder.

Thank you to our city and federal partners with assisting in the arrest of this violent offender.
