#2023-230659/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 8-12-2023, at 03:29hrs, multiple calls came in reporting many shots heard around Denny Way and Fairview Avenue North. Officers located evidence of a shooting in the area. Two people sustained minor injuries from shrapnel and multiple vehicles and buildings sustained ballistic damage. No suspects were located.
#2023-231186/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 16:19hrs, the victim was found in the 1000 block of South King Street. There was a physical altercation between the suspect and the victim that led up to the victim being stabbed. The suspect left the location on foot. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the assault. The suspect was not located.
#2023-231315/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 19:02hrs, police responded to the 1200 block of S Jackson Street. The complainant called to report a known female stabbed another male within an apartment building in the area. Officers arrived at the location and found no one with a stab wound. It appears this may have been a crisis incident.
#2023-231335/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 19:28hrs, officers were flagged down in the 1200 block of South Jackson Street about a robbery that occurred in the 800 block of South Jackson Street. The victim stated he was walking along South Jackson Street when he was approached by three males. The suspects obtained the victim’s glasses, but he was able to get them back. The suspects then grabbed and assaulted the victim before fleeing from the area. The victim declined medical treatment. Officers checked the area for the suspects, but they were not located.
