Drug Trafficker Found and Arrested

Through extensive investigations of a drug trafficking organization operating in the greater Puget Sound region, SPD’s Narcotics detectives locate and arrest a man involved in this high level trafficking of narcotics.

The Narcotics detective working as a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force Officer completed a search warrant of the suspect’s residence in the city of Kent. Around 7:30 a.m. yesterday morning, SPD and the DEA searched the location in the 23900 block of 60th Avenue South. Police recovered the following from inside the residence:

  • Approximately 55,000 Fentanyl pills
  • 1169.2 grams Cocaine (Approximately 2.5 pounds)
  • 779.8 grams of Heroin (Approximately 1.75 pounds)
  • Approximately $90,000 in US currency

The 28-year-old male suspect was booked into the King County Jail on an outstanding violation of the uniform controlled substance act warrant. Detectives will be requesting additional VUCSA charges from the arrest completed yesterday.

Thank you to SPD’s Narcotics detectives, King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and our Federal partners Task Force Officer program as we continue to work together in seeking to interdict high level narcotics traffickers in our region.
