#2023-144894/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 9-6-2023, at 09:00hrs, SPD ICAC along with CRG served an ICAC search warrant in the 1400 block of Minor Avenue. CRG served the warrant and took the suspect into custody without incident. Washington ICAC task force members from FBI and HSI assisted with the search and triage of onsite electronics. CSAM was located on the suspect’s devices in the apartment. The suspect was booked into King County Jail.
#2023-257967/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 12:41hrs, officers were on a premise in the 1000 block of South King Street when a suspect rode past them on a scooter, making shooting motions at the officers. The officers went to approach the suspect but he refused to stop and attempted to ride away. While police were detaining the suspect, he resisted and grabbed at the officers’ handguns. A search of the suspect yielded the recovery of an 18-inch machete, a large axe, a pickaxe, and a hatchet. The suspect was booked into jail for harassment, assault, disarming a public servant and obstruction.
#2023-258398/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 20:03hrs, a 911 call was received stating a bullet broke the door to a business in the 2700 block of East Cherry Street. Officers arrived and located evidence of the shooting. No one reported injury at the time of the incident.
#2023-258507/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 22:24hrs, two males approached the victim, pointed a gun at him while demanding he get out of his car. The victim complied and the suspects left the area in the stolen vehicle. The suspects were not located.
#20223-258570/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 23:35hrs, a K-9 unit on-viewed an armed robbery in the 5200 block of Beacon Avenue South. The officer contacted the victim who reported a dark sedan type vehicle rear ended him. When the victim got out of his vehicle to inspect the damage, the driver of the other vehicle approached him with a handgun and robbed him. When the suspects saw the police, they left the area in their vehicle at a high rate of speed. Police searched for the suspects and suspect vehicle but did not locate them. No one reported injury at the time of the incident.
