Detectives are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred in South Seattle Thursday morning.
Shortly after 5:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 5000 block of South Wallace Street. Officers arrived and contacted the victims who stated five male suspects forced entry to their home and demanded money. According to the victims, three of the suspects were armed.
During the robbery, one suspect pulled a gold necklace from the female victim’s neck. The suspects stole jewelry, electronics, and cash before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
Police processed the scene for evidence, and the Robbery Unit is leading the investigation.
