#2023-275036/South Precinct/Third Watch:
On 9-22-2023, at 03:14hrs, officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary in the 1700 block of 4th Avenue South. Police arrived and found a running stolen Hyundai vehicle with significant front-end damage still at the scene. A business in the area had apparent damage to the front entrance. Officers searched the business but did not locate any suspects. Items were stolen but the quantity and value are unknown at this time. Four male suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and dark pants entered the business and stole several items. The suspects then left in another vehicle southbound on 4th Avenue South.
#2023-275062/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 04:44hrs, North Precinct officers responded to a fight disturbance in Wallingford involving two males. Prior to police arriving, staff reported one of the males waved a knife towards them. The suspect was located and taken into custody. A male victim who sustained stab wounds was found within in his residence. Police provided aid until SFD arrived on the scene. The victim was transported to HMC. The suspect was arrested for assault and booked into King County Jail.
#2023-275137/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 07:21hrs, officers responded to a collision involving two buses near the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Stewart Street. Officers completed the investigation and provided traffic control until the street was clear. The drivers were transported to HMC for minor injuries.
