#2023-273900/East Precinct/First Watch:
On 9-21-2023, at 04:54hrs, an East Precinct patrol officer responded to investigate a collision involving an emergency city vehicle. A stolen vehicle collided with the emergency vehicle near the intersection of 16th Avenue and East Yesler Way. Due to the collision, the emergency vehicle collided with two parked vehicles in the area. The two subjects in the emergency vehicle were transported to HMC for non-life-threatening injuries.
#2023-274228/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 11:43hrs, workers in the in the 6300 block of California Avenue Southwest attempted to keep a man out of a work zone for his safety. The man became angry, pulled out a knife, swung it several times towards the victim and threatened to harm the victim. The suspect then left but later returned with a firearm and threatened the victim again. The suspect was arrested for assault and booked into King County Jail.
#2023-274474/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 15:20hrs, officers responded to a call of a man brandishing a handgun in a restaurant in the Chinatown International District. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim, who reported to police a disturbance occurred within the business where the suspect drew a handgun and racked it. Police located the suspect and arrested him for harassment and booked him into King County Jail.
#2023-274549/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 16:15hrs, a report of a man with a knife near the ferry dock was causing alarm for employees. As police arrived the man fled from the area. As police searched for the man, he was reported to have entered two homes and obtained a large machete. He was eventually located in the 10200 block of 47th Avenue Southwest and arrested for burglary and booked into King County Jail.
#2023-274596/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 17:05hrs, officers observed a man entering an open garage of an occupied residence. The suspect was contacted and arrested for burglary without incident. He was later booked into King County Jail.
#2023-274730/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 19:30hrs, South Precinct officers were dispatched to a robbery. Upon their arrival, they learned three masked suspects approached two male victims outside the residence. The three suspects produced firearms and demanded the victims’ cell phones and wallets. The suspects then entered the home through the open garage door and contacted three victims inside the residence. The suspects took multiple high value items before fleeing the scene on foot.
#2023-274766/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 20:14hrs, officers responded to the 2300 block of 17th Avenue South to investigate a stabbing. When officers arrived, they located a man with a stab wound. Police provided life-saving measures until SFD arrived and took over medical care. He was later transported to HMC for his non-life-threatening injuries. Another victim at the location had sustained a non-life-threatening head injury but declined medical aid. The stabbing victim stated they were walking down the street when two suspects assaulted them and took one of the victim’s bags. The suspects were not located at the time of the incident.
