Man Arrested After Stabbing in Fremont

Seattle Police officers arrested a 75-year-old male for a stabbing that left a victim seriously injured in Fremont Friday morning.

Around 4:45 a.m., officers responded to reports of two men fighting in the 3500 block of Albion Place North. The caller stated one of the men was armed with a knife and the other with a broom. Prior to arrival, police learned that the male with the broom walked away from the scene.

When officers arrived, police located a male armed with a knife and detained him. The knife was bloodied.

Officers followed a trail of blood to an apartment and found a 63-year-old male victim with multiple stab wounds. Police provided first aid until Seattle Fire Department personnel arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail for Investigation of assault.
