Police are investigating after a man was stabbed Wednesday afternoon in Belltown.
Shortly after 4:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a male stabbed near the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Blanchard Street. Police arrived and located a 34-year-old male with a stab wound. Officers provided life-saving measures until Seattle Fire Department personnel arrived.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
The exact circumstances that led up to the assault are unknown and no suspects have been identified.
