#2023-283021/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0211 hours, officers responded to an armed robbery in the 5500 block of Airport Way South. The victim told officers he was approached by the suspect who pepper sprayed him and then assaulted him.  The suspect produced a firearm and pointed it at the victim. The suspect took the victim’s phone, and the suspect fled the scene. There was a 30-40 min time delay prior to the victim calling 911. Officers conducted an area search but didn’t locate the suspect.

#2023-283036/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0230 hours, officers responded to a report of two people arguing right before shots were fired. Officers arrived in the area and located damage to a window of a business. Several conflicting stories were provided by employees of a business. While looking for a scene Dispatch updated that a subject with a GSW arrived at a hospital. Police arrived at the hospital and interviewed the subject. The subject was not very cooperative but stated they were in a parking lot when they heard gunshots, and they were struck by a round. The vehicle the subject arrived at the hospital in had a firearm inside and had gunshot damage. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant.

#2023-283514/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1500 hours, officers responded to a shooting/Road Rage call at Southwest Cambridge Street and 7th Avenue Southwest. The victim advised that a white vehicle was driving fast and cutting vehicles off. The victim turned onto 7th Avenue Southwest and the suspect’s vehicle followed him. The victim advised that the suspect pulled along the side of his car and fired rounds at him. The suspect left the area heading eastbound on Southwest Cambridge Street. The victim sustained no injury and no damage to his vehicle. Officers conducted an area search, but the suspect was not located. Officers located shell casings at the intersection.

#2023-283585/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1615 hours, in the 3300 block of South Austin Street. The victim drove to the location in a black sedan and began talking to two suspects on foot. After a few minutes of talking, the victim began driving away. One suspect pulled out a handgun and began shooting at the sedan. After the shooting, both suspects entered a blue vehicle and left the scene. No victims and no property damage were found. Police processed the scene and found casings.

#2023-283781/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2020 hours, the complainant called to report that he found a bullet in the front wall of his houseboat. The incident occurred at the 9200 block of Fauntleroy Way Southwest. Officers arrived and saw that there was a bullet inside the wall. Officers took photos. It didn’t appear to be any other damage.
