#2023-286129/West Precinct/First Watch:
On 10-3-2023, at 10:05hrs, police responded to an incident in the 700 block of 1st Avenue. There was a time delay of approximately an hour before the victim called 911. The victim, an employee of the business, was driving a company vehicle at the above location when the victim found two trespassers and asked them to leave. As the victim drove away, he heard what sounded like a shot. He drove to another level to inspect the vehicle and found a bullet hole. The suspects were not located.
#2023-286579/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 17:20hrs, officers responded to a report of a shooting near the intersection of 12 Avenue South and South Weller Street, the caller stated he heard multiple shots and found damage to his vehicle. Officers received information about a gunshot wound victim prior to arriving in the area. Police arrived and located the victim who sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot injury. Officers rendered aid until Seattle Fire arrived, the victim was transported to HMC in stable condition. Officers located two shooting scenes and recovered evidence of the shootings. An area check for the suspect was conducted with negative results.
#2023-286766/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 21:06hrs, police received calls reporting shots fired near the 1500 block of Broadway. Officers arrived and located a scene in a parking lot. Evidence of a shooting was recovered. Police reviewed surveillance footage that shows possibly two subjects involved in the incident. The subjects then fled from the area. No reports of anyone injured.
#2023-286720/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 20:16hrs, officers reported hearing gunshots at Martin Luther King Junior Way South and South Othello Street with a vehicle collision shortly after. Security at a nearby business reported to officers on scene the occupants of the vehicle were inside the business. Officers entered and detained three juveniles and one adult. Police located the scene of the gunshots at 39th Avenue South and South Othello Street in the intersection. There was property damage also located to a window in the 3800 block of South Othello Street. The business where the subjects were detained from closed to allow SPD K9 to search for a firearm. No firearm was located in the business or the crashed vehicle. All detained subjects were released.
